Van Diest Medical Center officials are pleased to announce that Reda M. Daher, D.O. has joined the Van Diest Medical Center clinical team.
Daher, who is board certified in Internal Medicine, earned his medical degree from Des Moines University, and completed his internal medicine residency at University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has been practicing medicine in Tulsa and has significant experience working in both the hospital inpatient setting and the hospital intensive care unit.
"Adding an Internist allows us to provide much needed specialized services in the area of Internal Medicine for our community. This provides real value to patients," Lori Rathbun, chief executive officer at Van Diest Medical Center, said. "In addition, this complements local physician expertise and allows us to address more specialized patient needs while keeping the care local."
Daher will be practicing out of the Van Diest Medical Center Clinic located at the hospital. The range of services to be offered by him will include internal medicine, family practice, and emergency services. Daher plans to relocate to the Webster City area to begin his practice in early fall of this year.
