A Webster City man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his father, according to law enforcement.
Webster City Police responded Monday around 2 a.m. to a call of a deceased male at 1932 Des Moines St. When police arrived on scene, they found Steven James Graesch, age 61, dead.
After further investigation, officials determined that Graesch and his son, Corbin James Graesch, 27, had an altercation sometime in the early morning hours on Saturday. Steven James Graesch died as a result of the altercation, officials said.
Steven Graesch was found dead at 1932 Des Moines Street on Monday. Pictured later that day, the residence bears a do-not-cross line.
An autopsy on Steven Graesch will be conducted on Tuesday by Chief State Medical Examiner Dr. Julia Goodin at the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
Corbin James Graesch has been charged with First Degree Murder. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Jail.
