A 27-year-old man has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his father early Monday morning.
Webster City Police responded to a call of a deceased male at 1932 Des Moines St. in Webster City around 2 a.m. Monday. When police arrived on scene, they found Steven James Graesch, age 61, dead.
After further investigation, officials determined that Graesch's son, Corbin James Graesch, age 27, and Steven had an altercation sometime in the early morning hours on Saturday. Steven James Graesch died as a result of the altercation.

An autopsy on Steven Graesch will be conducted on Tuesday by Chief State Medical Examiner Dr. Julia Goodin at the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
Corbin James Graesch has been charged with First Degree Murder. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Jail.
