Funds raised by youth

May 5, 2014
The Daily Freeman Journal
The sixth and seventh grade Sunday school class of Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City recently completed a fundraising drive to purchase hearing aids for children. The Starkey Hearing Foundation of Eden Prairie, Minn. was chosen to assist with this project because of their involvement with the hearing impaired, especially children. Through the class efforts, $1,100 was raised which will be used to purchase hearing aids for 11 children. Pictured from left to right are Kathy Runyan, Casey Kolbeck, Malaise Runyan, Mallory Draeger and Paul Runyan. Reid Leeper and Sean Godfredson were not present for the photo.
