A public hearing on a whole grade sharing agreement between Webster City and Northeast Hamilton schools has been set for next month.
At the meeting of the Webster City Community School District Board of Directors on Monday, the board voted to hold the public hearing on May 27 at 6 p.m. during their regular meeting in the School Administration Office Board Room. Superintendent Mike Sherwood said the board will vote on the agreement on June 30.
In other business, the board set fees for the next school year. Student and adult activity tickets increased by $5. Tickets for students will increase from $30 to $35 and adult tickets will increase from $55 to $60. Student lunch prices will go up by 10 cents and adult lunch fees will increase by 50 cents. Breakfast costs will stay the same. Additionally, the school's iPad fee will stay the same at $20 per student. Sherwood said the school will continue to not charge a fee for student registration.
On Monday, the board also accepted the resignations of Josie Smock, first grade teacher, and Katie Martzahn, fourth grade teacher.
The next board meeting will be held on May 12 at 6 p.m.
