Health students train

Southfield Wellness Community has had 10 Iowa Central Community College students doing clinical training at their home. The students are enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant course which consists of a minimum of 75 hours of class, lab and clinical training. There is a requirement to have a minimum of 30 hours of clinical experience. Students vary from high school, to non-traditional students, to Iowa Central and Iowa State University students. Half the class is high school students taking dual credit classes through Iowa Central Community College.
