Shredding for safety

April 11, 2014
The Daily Freeman Journal
ISU Extension in Hamilton County hosted one of its final events for Money Smart Week in Webster City on Thursday afternoon when they held a paper shredding service at no cost to the public. Organizers said shredding important documents such as tax returns, pay stubs, bank and financial statements and any documents containing personal data should be shredded after they are no longer needed as they can be used to steal identities. Pictured, Webster City Mayor Doug Getter, right, was one of several community members to take in boxes of documents for shredding.
