Southfield Wellness Community is gearing up to host its seventh annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday.
Southfield officials said children, parents and grandparents are invited to stop by the commons area of Southfield's independent and assisted living apartments at 2414 Des Moines St. from 10 a.m. to noon.
Two Easter egg hunts are scheduled for the morning. The first at 10:30 a.m. will be for children ages 1 to 4. The second is set for 11:15 a.m. for 5- to 8-year-olds.

Local 4-H members will display their tame rabbits and a baby lamb and McMurray Hatchery will provide one-day-old chicks.
An Easter craft for children is to make and take home is also planned. Refreshments will also be provided at the free event.
