Bank hosts theater fundraiser

Webster City Federal to match money donated by community

January 31, 2014
The Daily Freeman Journal

Webster City Federal Savings Bank is holding a week-long effort to raise funds for the Help Entertain and Restore Organization to revitalize the Webster Theater.

From today through Feb. 7, the bank will offer a variety of ways for community members to give to the project. Webster City Federal will be sharing popcorn and candy with those who give a freewill donation. Donors can also buy "goodie packs" with popcorn and candy for a small fee. Freewill donations and pack sales will be matched by Webster City Federal.

The bank will also host a raffle for a movie theater style at-home popcorn maker. Tickets start at $1.
