GILBERTVILLE - Northeast Hamilton's best defensive effort of the season led to an Iowa Star Conference road victory here last night.

With Logan Seiser continuing to dominate the paint, the Trojans notched a 35-29 win over Don Bosco.

"We really didn't shoot very well, but this is our best team effort by far," NEH head coach John Seiser said. "We did a good job of taking care of the ball and we did a great job of blocking out and rebounding."

Logan Seiser, a double-double machine this winter, posted another one with 18 points and 21 rebounds. He had help at both ends of the floor from Austin Smith, who contributed six points and 11 boards. Nick Jeffers pitched in five points.

Travis Havel led Don Bosco (5-6, 3-5 ISC) with 14 points, but the Dons had trouble putting up points against the Trojans' zone.

"We stayed in a zone all night and had good pressure, and they struggled shooting," John Seiser said.
