The Hamilton County Crimestoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of any of the persons who are responsible for damaging approximately 20 street signs throughout the City of Webster City.
Officers first started noticing knocked over street signs on Dec. 30 at around 9 p.m. At first, it was thought the snowfall had caused motorists to go off the road, but the number of signs knocked over kept increasing throughout the night and the direction of the snow tracks led police to believe it was intentional.

Police are looking for information about possible vandalism to signs throughout the community. Several stop signs were among the signs damaged Dec. 30.
