Larson honored

December 13, 2013
The Daily Freeman Journal
At the Main Street Morning Kiwanis meeting on Tuesday, the program was presented by head wrestling coach Ted Larson. Following his presentation, Coach Larson was presented the Main Street Kiwanis Citizen of the Year plaque for his outstanding contributions to the community, most especially the effort in involving wrestlers on the team in community betterment and help. A few examples include cutting down trees for families, roofing houses, helping families move, helping with cemetery flags for Memorial Day, walking beans, parking cars at the fair, etc. The photo shows Larson receiving the plaque from Kiwanian Ray Reasland. Pictured are, from the left, wrestlers Gavin Dinsdale and Jacob Powers, Coach Larson, Ray Reasland, and wrestlers Connor Larson and Dylan Fielder.
