JEWELL - A Jewell teen was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames Tuesday morning after he reportedly lost control of the truck he was driving and rolled the vehicle.

Caleb Olson, 17, was traveling north on Nelson Avenue when he approached 380th Street and according to reports, he failed to stop at the stop sign and lost control when he tried to make a right hand turn. The 2000 Ford Ranger truck rolled into the ditch in the northeast corner of the intersection. Charges are pending, according to Iowa State Patrol reports.

Olson was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center by the Jewell Fire and EMS for treatment.
