The sounds of Big Band music and American standards will fill the air at Fuller Hall Saturday night as the Al Welsh Orchestra comes home to Webster City to perform.

The ensemble will perform Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. All proceeds from the night of music will go towards the Webster City Community and Senior Center, 749 Second St.

The group will perform a variety of Big Band and famous dance tunes from the 1920s through the 1950s and beyond.

The Al Welsh Orchestra will perform Saturday at Fuller Hall as a fund raiser for the Webster City Community and Senior Center.

The late Al Welsh started the orchestra many years ago in Webster City. Today, the musicians continue to be a popular dance band. Webster City High School graduate Steve Cook is the group's lead trumpet player.
