GOP dinner set for Nov. 2

Lt. governor, three Senate candidates to appear

The Hamilton County Republicans will be holding their annual chili supper and auction on Nov. 2 at the Ed Prince Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, Webster City.

Simon Conway, a WHO Radio talk show host, will be the keynote speaker and a special guest will be Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds. Others confirmed to attend are State Auditor Mary Mosiman, Secretary of State Matt Schultz, state Sen. Jerry Behn and state Rep. Rob Bacon. US Senate candidates scheduled to attend are Sam Clovis, Scott Schaben and David Young. Other state and local officials have been invited.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and serving of chili begins at 5:30 p.m., the cost for the chili supper is a free will offering.

The fun filled auction of many baked goods and miscellaneous items, including signed books, quilted lap robe, and jewelry, will be held after the speakers.

Hamilton County GOP officials said the event is open to all interested people and families.
