The Webster City Police Department received a phone call about an unusual odor coming from 943 Second Street, Apt. 3.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the resident, Daniel Luhmann, 23, and two other 17 year-old male juveniles. Officers detected a strong smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the apartment. The officers obtained consent to search the apartment and located several plastic baggies containing more than a pound of suspected marijuana. In addition, several suspected items of drug paraphernalia, including glass pipes, a bong, digital scales, a grinder and more were located.
Luhmann was charged with the following:
Distributing to a Person Under 18 years old- 124.406(1)(a) "B" Felony
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver-124.401(1)(d) "D" Felony
Failure to Affix Tax Stamp-453B.3 "D" Felony
Gathering Where a Controlled Substance is Used- 124.407 Serious Misdemeanor.
One male juvenile was charged with the following:
Possession of Marijuana-124.401(5) Serious Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-124.414 Simple Misdemeanor
The other male juvenile has been charged with:
Possession of Marijuana w/Intent to Deliver-124.406(1)(d) "D" Felony
