Southfield Wellness Community is hosting first year nursing students from Iowa Central Community College as they perform their six-hour per week clinical studies. Two groups this semester are training at Southfield with one group on Thursday and another on Friday.

Betty Daniel, ICCC nursing coordinator and instructor at the Webster City campus said, "The nursing program is highly successful due to the tremendous need for nurses. They will always have jobs because there are so many versatile nursing job options."

There are 12 students in the first year program. Daniels explained that the students are enjoying their classroom and lab in the Thomas Chelsvig Building on the Webster City campus, which was renovated in 2011.
