Adorned in signature ISU red, a familiar bus made an appearance at the RVTV event in Webster City.

The tailgating bus, owned by Juan Trujillo in Webster City, has a lot of history with the Cyclones. He said the bus was previously owned by another ISU tailgating group that went back to 1975. When that group decided to go with another vehicle, Trujillo decided to purchase it.

"I went to Iowa State and graduated in 1990, and since 1988, I've been to quite a few Iowa State games," Trujillo said. "Almost every one."

Trujillo said it has everything and the kitchen sink, as the bus contains a sink and several cabinets as well. He said he tailgates at almost every Iowa State Football game, and has done so since 1988. He graduated from ISU in 1990.

"It's a social, mobile party bus," Trujillo said. "It's a mobile device to have fun."

While he and his family and friends enjoy tailgating at Jack Trice Stadium during the football season, the bus also has another purpose. The bus serves also serves as a mobile base of operations for the Cobra Bicycle Club during RAGBRAI. The bus is fitted with several bike racks and enough space to fit the members comfortably.

For the RVTV event, Trujillo parked along Des Moines St. and invited friends to join him. It wasn't just close friends that Trujillo invited to tailgate with him. Anyone wearing red and gold was invited to hang out and talk Cyclone football.

"Good friends, good fans, what else can you ask for?" Trujillo said.
