Plans are now underway for the annual Webster City Quilt Show on Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.
Area quilters are invited to bring their most recent quilted creations, family heirloom quilts and unique quilted garments or decorator pieces to display. The show is a joint effort by the Gingerbread House and the Webster City Medical Clinic. The event is held at the clinic each year, with displays set up throughout the building. Members of the local quilt club have made adoption quilts, pillowcases for cancer patients and other projects that will be featured at the show. For more information on this year's quilt show or how to display quilts, contact Karen Johnson at the Gingerbread House, 832-1492.
A small admission is charged to the show, with proceeds benefiting local youth projects.
