AMES - The South Hamilton volleyball team was unable to collect a set in four matches on Saturday at the Ames Early Bird Tournament.

The Hawks (2-4) dropped 2-0 decisions to Waukee, IKM-Manning, Council Bluffs Lewis Central and Ames.

Freshman Ady Wintermote laced 13 kills in the four matches to set the pace. Tiffany Jacobson pounded down 10, one more than Alyssa Hegland.

Setters Kenzie Busch and Molly Minich dished out 24 and 20 assists, respectively.

Libero Hannah Pulis dove her way to 36 digs, including a combined 27 in the losses to Waukee and IKM-Manning. Minich collected 15 and Hegland finished with 14.

South Hamilton will try to get back on track this evening when it hosts Ogden in non-conference play.
