The annual Webster City Crazy Day is set for Saturday and feature bargains from local businesses as well as art displays and a car show.
Chamber of Commerce Director Deb Brown said many of the stores will be opening as early as 7 a.m. to offer shoppers early bird specials and discounts on products.
"They have some crazy sales planned," she said of the local retailers.
More than 50 cars are expected for the annual car show that will line part of Des Moines and Second Streets. Brown said the show has been very popular in past years. Cars will be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Art in the Park will be held at the First American Bank/Stark Plaza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stroll through the plaza and see all of the unusual and diverse artworks on display. Vendors in previous years have included painters, jewelry makers, photographers, artists who work with natural elements and many other crafters.
Brown urged local residents to come for the sales and stay for the art and car shows.
