The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is continuing the "From How to Wow" education series monthly through the end of 2013 as a result of feedback from Chamber members. "Members requested that we continue our education series and not take a break through the summer months," said Darcy Swon, Chamber Education Committee Chair.

"We decided to transition into the monthly meetings by doing something a little different. We are holding a dinner presentation that will focus on a more general topic that we can all relate to, regardless if you own a business or not."

The presentation titled "Basic Car Maintenance" will be sponsored by Gerber Auto.

Gerber Auto staff will share basic car maintenance information such as tire air pressure, checking the oil, windshield washer fluid location, changing a tire and other tips to help prolong the life of a vehicle and to improve safety. The class is geared towards those with little or no car maintenance experience.

Dinner and networking will begin at 6 p.m. at the Seneca Street Saloon with the class starting at 6:30 p.m. across the street at Gerber Auto. Cost of the educational seminar is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members and includes both dinner and the seminar.

The deadline to make a reservation is June 10. Reserve a spot by calling the Chamber Office at 832-2564.
