Registration underway for summer programs

Registration for youth summer activities is now underway, according to officials with the Webster City Recreation and Public Grounds department. Signup is taking place at Fuller Hall. Youth activities will begin the week of June 3.

Baseball and softball

Pee Wee Baseball and Softball (for those finishing first and second grades) will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings

Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball (for those finishing third and fourth grades) will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

All baseball and softball activities will be held at Middleton Sports Complex at Nokomis Park. The fee is $25 for residents and $29 for nonresidents.

Summer playground

Summer playground, designed for children finishing kindergarten through fourth grades, will be held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at West Twin Park. The fee is $30 for residents and $24 for nonresidents.

Swim Team

Swim team for swimmers level 4 and above is weekday mornings at the outdoor pool. The cost is $30 for Webster City residents and $35 for nonresidents.

Youth tennis

Youth tennis is held at the high school tennis courts Monday through Friday mornings for students finishing second through sixth grades. Cost is $25 for residents and $29 for nonresidents.

Swim lessons

Swim lessons for levels 1 through 6 will be held at the outdoor pool. The fee is $30 for residents and $35 for nonresidents.

Pool passes available

Season passes at the outdoor pool are available for purchase. The pool is scheduled to open on June 6.

Youth passes are $36 for residents; $41 for nonresidents; adult passes are $42 for residents; $48 for non residents; or a family pass for $90 for residents or $105 for nonresidents.
