DOWS - Five players scored in the 40s for the Northeast Hamilton boys' golf team in a non-conference dual-meet victory over CWL yesterday afternoon at the Dows Golf Course.

The Panthers' Andy Hauswirth claimed the medalist accolade with a 38, but the Panthers were unable to match the Trojans' consistency in a 175-181 Northeast Hamilton victory.

"Getting some time in on the course, whether it's practice or playing, has helped a lot," NEH head coach Jeff Meyer said.

The Trojans' Trevor Klaver and Logan Seiser shared the runner-up spot; both shot 41. Tristan Nicholson posted a 45, Andy Olson a 48 and Kyle Leksell a 49.

In the girls' meet, Northeast Hamilton's Leah Meyer tied for second with a 58. CWL's Shayla Vanchs joined her in the runner-up slot.

The Panthers' Sarah Hauswirth was the medalist with a 57.
