The Daily Freeman Journal

Auditions for Webster City Community Theatre's summer musical, "Nunset Boulevard" will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at the theater. Production dates are July 11 to 14 and 18 to 21. This is the sixth show in Dan Goggins' "Nunsense" series that WCCT has brought to the stage. There are parts for three nuns.

This time, the play takes place as the Little Sisters of Hoboken have been invited to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. However, when they arrive in California, they learn that they are slated for a cabaret lounge in the Hollywood Bowl-a-Rama.

Director Loween Getter said she is looking for actresses who like to sing, dance and have fun bringing their characters to life.

The musical will be performed at WCCT July 11 to 14 and July 18 to 21.
