Sweet, Meyer lead NEH golf teams in triangular

CLARKSVILLE - The Northeast Hamilton boys' golf team shot a 239 to finish third in an Iowa Star Conference triangular meet Monday afternoon at the Card, Inc. Golf and Country Club.

Dunkerton won the meet with a 184, three shots ahead of host Clarksville (187). The Red Raiders' Jordan Kubitz was the medalist with a 41 in the damp and cold conditions.

Kevin Sweet led NEH with a 55. Nick Speicher and Tristan Nicholson both shot 61, and Andy Olson fired a 62.

Leah Meyer (70), Molly Greenfield (79) and Abby Luppes (84) competed for NEH in the girls' meet, but the Trojets were unable to post a team score.

Clarksville (211) won the girls' meet ahead of Dunkerton (246). The Indians' Arika Rinnels was the low player with a 48.
