To the Editor:
The shop local meeting for shop in your home town should talk a lot keeping prices close to those in other towns. Most people will buy in their town if the price is close to what the item can be bought for in another town. It can be a little higher, but like gas the other day at 22 cents higher in Webster City than Fort Dodge, that makes it very hard.
I try to buy in Webster City all the time. I have bought two cars here in town, two campers and most of our food. The only things we do not buy in town is a very few things we cannot get here, other than gas at 22 cents higher.
