‘Buy local’ focus of April Chamber Educational Luncheon

Webster City, Iowa – The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce’s ‘From How to Wow’ educational luncheon on April 10 will focus on buying local. The ‘Buy Local First’ presentation will feature a panel of presenters that will discuss the economic impact buying local has on rural communities and provide case studies on what they have done to create a “buying local” movement including business partnerships.
Seneca Street Saloon is the meeting sponsor. The educational luncheon will be held in the Sampson Room at the Fuller Hall Recreation Center. Lunch and networking will begin at 11:30 am with the presentation to start around noon. Cost of the educational seminar is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members.
Presenters include: Shannon Latham, Latham Hi-Tech Seeds; Brook Boehmler, Executive Director Greater Franklin County Chamber; and a representative from the Main Street Iowa program.
Reservations will be accepted through Monday, April 8, and can be made by calling the Chamber Office at 515-832-2564.
