‘How to Wow’ returns to Webster City

The Webster City Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 2013 educational series, 'From How to Wow', on March 13 when Rob Williams, IASourceLink, will present "Making Cents of Twitter."

The presentation will be held in the Sampson Room at Fuller Hall Recreation Center with lunch and networking beginning at 11:30 am. Cost of the educational seminar is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members.

Williams will present information on Twitter including what it is, how it works, and how companies in Iowa are leveraging the Twitter platform to find and capitalize on branding opportunities for their businesses.

Twitter is a social media website boasting millions of users. Over 300 million "tweets" are posted to Twitter every single day. People are gathering online to discuss everything from politics to entertainment as well as business.

Williams is a Business Analyst at University of Northern Iowa and UNI Team Lead for IASourceLink. He also serves as the Social Media specialist for the Advance IowaEconomic Gardening team. He is certified in Social Media Marketing, and has earned his EGc(SM) from the National Center for Economic Gardening.

Reservations will be accepted through Wednesday, March 6 and can be made by calling the Chamber office at 515-832-2564.
