The Webster City Police Department released a monthly report for January. The department is releasing numbers for many police activities in an effort to increase transparency, according to Police Chief Brian Hughes. He said January brought its own challenges.
"This month was a lot of people not getting along with each other. That was a lot of our calls, including harassment related incidents or domestic disputes," Hughes said.
He also said that every month is different in the challenges that are presented to the department.
