BLAIRSBURG - A dominating night by Logan Seiser, with a lot of help from Noah Ronnfeldt, wasn't enough to carry Northeast Hamilton here Friday night.
Tied at 49 at the end of regulation, Prairie Valley (3-17) outscored the Trojans (8-12) 11-7 in the extra 4-minute session to claim the non-conference tussle, 60-56 in overtime.
Seiser scored 22 points and yanked down a career-high 26 rebounds in the loss. Nine of his boards were on the offensive glass.
Ronnfeldt contributed a double-double as well with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Jeffers chipped in nine points.
NEH will open up Class 1A District 8 play with a first-round game against AGWSR in Ackley on Thursday at 7 p.m.
