Early rainfall froze on Sunday, creating hazardous conditions that caused several cancellations in Webster City.
The Festival of Chocolate at the Kendall Young Library was rescheduled to Feb. 3. It was originally planned for yesterday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Fuller Hall also closed its doors yesterday due to the icy conditions. Recreation and public grounds director Kent Harfst said Fuller Hall will be open today at 6 a.m.

A freezing rain advisory caused slush and ice to build up on roadways. The advisory ended at 9 p.m. last night, but untreated roads and walkways will continue to be slick and icy.
Forecasts for tomorrow are less hazardous. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration advises that dense fog may linger into the morning.
