Natalie B. (Browne) Hime died in Rockford, Ill. on January 7, 2013. Born in Jacksonville, FL Jan 2, 1927, daughter of Charles F. & Charlotte M. Jones Browne III. She married Gene L. Hime May 1, 1948. He was employed by Franklin Manufacturing and they resided in Webster City from 1966 to 1970. They lived several years in the Midwest before settling in Rockford, IL in 1972. She was employed for many years at the Rockford Medical School and volunteered her time for various community projects.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Barbara) Hime, Mpls, MN, Dane Hime, Rockford, IL and Diane Hime of Burgaw, NC.; sisters, Florence Bowlby, Betsy Huff, Claire Bohachek of Dayton, OH and Barbara Dillon of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Ruth E. Eslinger (Isaac Smith), Dr. Owen J. (Yolanda) Eslinger, Sara A. (Bruce) Aycock, Jane M. Eslinger, Alys L. (Brian) McCoy, Charles Hime and Robert Hime; six great grandchildren; brother-in-law George W. Hime, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Natalie was predeceased by her husband Gene; parents; sisters, Ida M. Akerland and Phyllis M. Richey; and sister-in-law Joan Hime Huls.
Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH, with services on Jan. 19 in the Mausoleum Chapel.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a favorite charity.
