Entrepreneurs invited to business program

Free event hosted by WCED, SEED, SCORE?and NCI?small business development center

Area providers are hosting a free event for individuals interested in or just starting their own business.

"Building a New Business In the 21st Century" to be held in Webster City the morning of Feb. 2. The event is free and open to the public.

"Building a New Business In the 21st Century," a program for present and potential owners of small businesses will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Webster City Hall, 400 Second St., Webster City. This program is being conducted by Webster City Economic Development, Hamilton County SEED, SCORE, and the NCI Small Business Development Center. Organizers said the program will provide information to help increase success in business. Local experts from the surrounding area will present tips on ingredients of personal business success; marketing and promotion; local start-up success; accounting and legal aspects of starting a business and banking and financing.
