The Webster City Recreation and Public Grounds Department is offering Yoga Classes in the Sampson Room at the Fuller Hall Recreation Center. There will be three Wednesday afternoon classes at 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. The 2:30 p.m. class will be intended for seniors and other persons with limited physical ability. The 4 p.m. and 5:15 classes will be for persons of all ages. The eight week session will begin on Feb. 6 and end March 27. Classes will be $35 for the eight classes and all interested persons will need to pre-register to reserve a place in this class.
This Yoga class is designed to completely stretch to maximize physical and mental energy, increase flexibility, improve body shape, and enhance relaxation. Mary-Louise Burt will be the instructor. Mary-Louise has over 30 years of experience and has studied Yoga in California, Texas, Minnesota, and Iowa. In addition to teaching class at Fuller Hall, Mary-Louise has been an Adjunct Professor at NIACC Community College and Ellsworth Community College, and has also taught in Clarion, Belmond, Hampton, Iowa Falls, and Alden.
