CONRAD - The South Hamilton wrestling team went 1-3 and placed seventh at the Storm Dual Tournament here on Saturday.
The Hawks dropped duals to Grinnell (64-12), Iowa Falls-Alden (54-24) and host BCLUW-South Hardin (51-30) before ending their day on a positive note with a win over Heart of Iowa Conference rival CMB (47-28).
The Hawks won seven of 10 matches against the Raiders, including four by fall and one by technical fall.
Sixth-ranked (Class 1A) 120-pound sophomore JD Rader continued to pile up the wins, as he collected four - all by fall. Two of his opponents didn't make it out of the first period, and the other two failed to survive the second period.
Josh Lutter (285) and Max Reiter (152) also posting winning records; Lutter won three of four bouts - all three of his wins were by fall - and Reiter finished 2-1.
A total of 11 South Hamilton grapplers collected at least one victory. Brian Greenfield (113), Austin Roys (138) and Logan Koopman (195) were all 2-2.
