On Tuesday, the Main Street, USA Morning Kiwanis Club named Marie Karbula its Citizen of the Year for all of the volunteerism that she has been involved with during the year and previous years. Some of that volunteering includes hospital greeter and gift shop worker, library book sale, church eucharistic minister, Heritage Hunters, Hamilton County Hospice, church Social Concerns Committee, church funeral dinners, cofounder of HUGS, and, of course, babysitting grandchildren.
