CLARKSVILLE - Shot selection wasn't the problem for the Northeast Hamilton girls' basketball team here Friday night.
Shot connection, that's where the Trojets had issues.
NEH made just 6 of 32 shots inside the 3-point arc, including a dismal 1 of 14 in the paint, in a 50-37 loss to 11th-ranked (Class 1A) Clarksville in Iowa Star Conference action.
"We got every shot we wanted, we just couldn't knock them down," NEH head coach Bret Schutt said.
Fittingly, the Trojets (1-2, 1-1 ISC) knocked down 50 percent - 6 of 12 - of their 3-point attempts. Molly Greenfield and Sarah Elm both hit three, as they led the team with 15 and nine points, respectively.
Jennifer Jeffers and Jenn Willems added six points each.
