The Community Advisory Board and staff of the Youth & Family Center of Hamilton County invite the community to attend a holiday open house event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4, at the Iowa State University Extension office, 311 Bank Street, Webster City. Holiday desserts and refreshments will be provided by the board members and staff.
The event will begin with a presentation by Preparation for Adult Living participants. A philanthropy award will be presented to American Legion Post 191 and a 10-year staff service award will be presented to Pam Hammond. There will also be a volunteer service award given to Sherry Lambi.
Guests can meet members of the community Advisory board and staff and learn about the center's activities.
Hamilton County board members includes co-chairs Kathy Birkestrand and Jean Kayser, as well as members Peggy Arends, Doug Bailey, Ron Birkestrand, Nan Bucknam, LuAnn Garvey, Trevor Klaver, Ginny Krieger, Sherry Lambi and Jessica Thompson.
Youth & Family Center of Hamilton County offers in-home family counseling, crisis intervention, assessment services, aftercare services, and in-office family counseling.
