The final performances of Webster City Community Theatre’s first production of the season, “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Pregnant,”?will wrap up this weekend. Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are still available by stopping at the box office, 1001 Willson Ave., weeknights from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon. The box office is also open one hour prior to curtain time on performanc nights. Patrons may also call the box office at 832-4456 or email tickets@wcctonline.org.
The play centers around Clara and Gunner and the bar they own in Bunyan Bay, Minn. The couple is having a baby. Their friends Aarvid, a fast talking karaoke salesman; Bernice, a former waitress and Broadway star-wannabe and Kanute, a rather oblivious local business owner, arrive for a baby shower just as a “tsnownami”?hits the area.
The musical is fourth in the “Don’t Hug Me”?series presented by WCCT.
