The Webster City High School theater will be opening a new play, "M*A*S*H," today at 7:30 p.m. in the Prem Sahai auditorium. LuAnn Garvey said the high school theater is always hunting for something to appeal to the community, and a script based on the television show and film of the same name fit that well. She said it is a fun show and she likes the script. People familiar with the show will enjoy familiar characters and those who have not will appreciate what Garvey described as a dark comedy. About 54 students of Webster City High School will be contributing to the play. Activity tickets will be honored, and the show costs $5 for adults and $4 for students.
From left, Zane Woodle, Nathan Griswald, Mikey Paisley, Chase Huber and Clay Fortune rehearse the high school’s rendition of MASH earlier this week. 54 students take part in and produce the play.
