Sixth graders at Webster City Middle School will present the play entitled, "The Great Iowa History Play"?on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. in the multi-purpose room.
The play was written by Fax Gilbert as a lively. humorous account of selected scenes from Iowa History. Gilbert will work with the students throughout the day Tuesday to prepare for the production on Wednesday. Students will portray Iowa's pre-history, Native Americans, frontier life, foreign occupations, Civil War, immigration and transportation through mime, music and dance. More than 175 costumes and props are used in the play.
Parents of sixth grade students and other interested individuals are welcome to attend the performance.
