Police seek help to apprehend suspect

$500 reward offered by Crime Stoppers for the capture of peeping tom

The Webster City Police Department is requesting assistance from the public regarding a voyeurism (peeping tom) incident that occurred on Monday morning between 6:50 am and 7:15 am on Kamen Court. The suspect used a step stool and camcorder to record an occupant inside the home, according to Police Chief Brian Hughes The suspect is described as a white male, mid-30s to mid-50s, 5 foot 8 inches to 6 foot 2 inches tall; medium build with a slight belly; auburn/brown short hair with strong receding hairline on both side of head. He may possibly wear eye glasses with thin frames. The suspect was wearing a long-sleeve white dress shirt, pleated on back with brown buttons, khaki pants creased with a cuff, dress belt and black or brown leather shoes.
