The deadline to apply for the next round of Hotel/Motel Tax Grants is Nov. 5, according to officials.
The first round review of applicants for funding will be held Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. This meeting will determine the finalists for the grants, board officials said. Letters to the finalists will be mailed on Nov. 15.
The final televised presentations by the finalists will be given on Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at city hall. The Hotel/Motel Tax Board will make the dinal determination of the recipients following the presentaitons.
Recommendations on the final selection will then be sent to the City Council for final approval. The council is expected to vote on the grants at the Dec. 17 City Council meeting.
