Merlyn (Jake) Mayes, 67, formerly from Woolstock, passed away at his home in Clarksville, Tenn. He is survived by his wife, Minnie, two sons and one daughter, sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Merlyn had two brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Dorothy Mayes and son Mark.
