Darrell and Gerry Ackerman, of Blairsburg, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and Darrell's 80th birthday. Their family cordially invites their friends and family to an Open House on Oct. 20 at the Blairsburg Opera House from 2 to 4 p.m.
Darrell and Gerry were married at the Lehigh Methodist Church on Dec. 5, 1952. Their children and spouses include Dwight and Becky Ackerman, Clear Lake, Jeff and Mary Ackerman, Florissant, Mo., and Denny and Sue Ackerman, Boone. They have three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
