Kelsey Klaver has joined the staff at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation as the new marketing director.
This is a new position at Crestview and Klaver will be in charge of community relations, event planning, advertising, social media, staff motivation and satisfaction.
Klaver graduated from Iowa State University in May 2012 with a bachelor's of arts in advertising. Prior to starting at Crestview, she was the marketing intern at the Iowa State Center in Ames. While Klaver held this position, she worked on individual show promotions, writing press releases and mass e-mails to the student body, social media and pre-show event planning for Stephens Auditorium in Ames.
Klaver graduated from Northeast Hamilton in 2008 and said she is happy to return to the area. She is the newest member of the Webster City Rotary Club and looks forward to giving back to the community as much as possible. She has also been active in attending Chamber Coffee events around town.
When asked why she was interested in Crestview, Klaver said, "I worked at Crestview as a nursing assistant in high school and I really admire those who choose to take care of others for a living. It takes a special kind of person to be a caretaker and those are the individuals I like to work with. I also like that Crestview is looking at making some improvements throughout the building. I think that change can be a very positive thing and I am excited to help make Crestview an even better place to live."
