JEWELL - School board members at South Hamilton convened a brief special session Sept. 14.
A major order of business was to officially accept the kitchen/commons remodel and expansion project as being fully complete. The board established the date of acceptance of completion on Friday.
Another agenda item was the board's approval to follow the recommendations from the Department of Education to raise the adult lunch program prices at school. The state is requiring all districts to raise adult lunch prices to $3. If the adult price is less than that, the student lunch prices are supplementing the adult lunch price.
In a personnel item Friday, the board made a motion to adjust the salary of technology director Lannie Schafroth.
