Trojets claim another ISC victory, this time at Waterloo Christian’s expense

WATERLOO - Five players smacked at least four kills and the Northeast Hamilton volleyball team finished off a good week with a second consecutive Iowa Star Conference victory here last night.

The Trojets (5-11, 2-1 ISC) were never seriously threatened in a 3-0 sweep of host Waterloo Christian, 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

"It was absolutely balanced for us," NEH head coach Kacey Pruismann said. "And it was a really loud and energetic gym, so I'm glad our girls played pretty solid the whole (match)."

Setter Sarah Elm actually led the squad in kills with six. Andi Anderson walloped five, while Molly Greenfield, Jennifer Jeffers and Kaylee Massman all tacked on four.

Greenfield, who continued to split her time between attacker and setter, also paced the Trojets in digs (12) and assists (8). Elm and Massman both corralled nine digs, libero Jaidyn Timm had eight, and Jeffers and Anderson both finished with seven.

Elm also distributed seven assists.
