A program sponsored by the Hamilton County League of Women Voters will be presented on Sept. 20 and will discuss "Mental Health Issues in Iowa and Hamilton County".
The program will be held at the Webster City Fire Station meeting room at 7 p.m.
The featured speakers will be Rik Shannon of the Iowa Developmental Disability Council; Amy Campbell, a lobbyist for the Iowa League of Women Voters; Patti Treibel, Director, Hamilton County Social Services and Doug Bailey, Hamilton County supervisor. The meeting will focus on mental health from a state and county perspective, the services provided to these individuals and a look to the future. League of Women Voters officials said there will also be a time for questions and comments from the audience.
